Education & Qualifications
Dr Shah completed her BDS at the University of Bristol in 2006. She furthered her studies, obtaining the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) in 2008 and the Membership in Surgical Dentistry (MSurgDent) in 2012, both from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) in Higher Education from King’s College London (KCL), earned in 2013 and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Dr Shah began her Oral Surgery journey as a Senior House Officer in 2007 and soon advanced to the role of Specialist Registrar in 2009. By 2014, she was recognized as a Consultant in the field. Over the years, she has worked at esteemed dental practices in London and Hertfordshire.
Areas of Expertise
Dr Shah’s clinical practice covers a broad spectrum of oral surgery procedures, including wisdom tooth extractions, extraction of impacted teeth, cyst enucleations, biopsies, coronectomies, frenectomies, and tongue-tie treatments. Additionally, she offers exposure and bonding of impacted teeth for orthodontic treatment. She employs a minimally invasive approach and specializes in managing anxious patients, offering intravenous sedation when necessary.

Dr Shah is an affiliated member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She also holds several leadership positions: an Examiner for the MFDS England, an Examiner for the tri-collegiate membership examination for Oral Surgery, and the Oral Surgery MCN deputy chair for north-west London. Previously, she was the lead tutor for the RCS Diploma in Primary Care Oral Surgery and served as a Guest editor for the Primary Dental Journal’s Oral Surgery issue in 2022.
